In this video, I compare and contrast the combat shotgun vs the tac shotgun. At the beginning of season 9, Epic made the decision to vault the pump shotgun and introduce the new combat shotgun. The combat shotgun, however, is completely different because it’s semi-automatic and has an extremely tight spread. This means in order to use the combat shotgun effectively, you can’t use it like you would use a pump. I discuss the pros and cons of both the combat and the tac shotguns and how you play around them in order to use them effectively. If you try and use them the same way, you will see it’s not very useful and that they are both good for different scenarios. The combat is better from range and utilzing its faster fire rate, and the tac is better up close and for being aggressive. At the end of the video, I give my personal opinion and recommendation for which shotgun to use. Finding the best shotgun for each situation and your specific playstyle will definitely help you guys win more fights, improve at Fortnite, and win more games. This is why it’s so important to compare the combat and tac shotguns to see which is better and why.
